The Clubhouse is our exclusive members-only lounge where clients can enjoy a unique experience that blends luxury, hospitality, and style.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and personable Hospitality Manager to oversee Clubhouse operations and create memorable experiences for our members and guests. This position is offered as an independent contractor role, open to individuals or sole-proprietors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee Clubhouse staff, including bartenders and bar backs, providing guidance and training to ensure excellent service.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, alcohol service laws, and Clubhouse standards.
- Plan and manage Clubhouse events, including logistics, reservations, and scheduling.
- Provide exceptional hospitality and personalized service to Clubhouse members and guests.
- Manage Clubhouse supplies, including bar inventory, and place orders as needed.
- Use scheduling software (Amelia) to handle member reservations, walkthrough appointments, and event bookings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality or event management, preferably in a private club or upscale venue.
- Strong commitment to creating memorable experiences and personalized service.
- Proven experience in supervising and training hospitality staff.
- Familiarity with Toast POS is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Completed NC ABC ServSafe course.
Compensation
- Blended compensation:
- $20/hour plus tips during Clubhouse operating hours (7pm-12am).
- Competitive flat monthly stipend based on estimated hours for telework tasks (event planning, marketing, etc.) and preparation.
- This position is in office. Telework is authorized. Remote work is not authorized.

Job Summary:
The Alterations Clerk will be responsible for performing various garment alterations to ensure each piece meets the high standards of Washington Apparel Company. This client-facing role involves working closely with the client to understand alteration requirements and deliver tailored adjustments that enhance the fit and appearance of each garment. This position is offered as an independent contractor role, open to individuals or sole-proprietors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform fitting appointments and communicate with Client to determine alteration needs.
- Perform garment alterations, including hemming, taking in/out seams, shortening/lengthening sleeves, and other custom adjustments as requested.
- Effective communication with Office Manager regarding availability and order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all tools and equipment are in good working order.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in alterations or tailoring, ideally in menswear (suits, shirts, coats).
- Proficiency with sewing machines, sergers, and other alteration tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing administrative tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Compensation
- Competitive rates per completed alteration project.
- Set your hours in coordination with client needs and operating hours (10am - 7pm).

Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Office Manager to lead our Storefront Operations Team, ensuring that each client enjoys a seamless and personalized experience. The Office Manager will oversee day-to-day operations at our storefront, providing exceptional management and leadership to ensure smooth, efficient operations. This role includes managing staff, maintaining schedules, maintaining client relations, coordinating with sales and alterations, maintaining inventory, and upholding our high standards of customer service.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing administrative tasks.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Maps, Sheets).
- Ability to learn software such as Canva, Hubspot, ClickUp, and other relevant software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Local travel is required for this position.
Salary and Benefits
- Current pay for this position is $20-$25 per hour (depending on experience/qualifications). NC Minimum wage is $7.25 per hour.
- Expected flexible work schedule during operating hours (10am - 7pm) 30-40 hours per week.
- This position is telework eligible. Remote work is not authorized. Applicant must live within county limits.
