WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

The service I received from Washington Apparel Company was far superior to what I could’ve imagined, especially for the price. Not to mention the atmosphere alone is top-notch. I’ll definitely recommend.

ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

This is a complex question and definitely depends on the garments to be manufactured. Understand that EVERY item we sell is made to order, when you order it. Generally:

  • Suits, shirts, and coats, are manufactured and shipped within 21 days.
  • Military uniforms are manufactured and shipped within 30-45 days.

There are typically 3 types of suit manufacturing: Ready-to-Wear (RtW), Made-to-Measure (MtM), and Bench-Made Bespoke.

Ready to Wear garments are pre-made in established sizes and often require tailoring to get the wearer’s fit.

Made-to-Measure (MtM) garments refers to customized clothing that is created from a pattern made from your body measurements.

True bench-made bespoke garments are made entirely based on a customer’s specifications and require a higher degree of skill. This hand craftsmanship involves multiple phases (consultation, measuring, baste fitting, forward fitting, alterations, final fitting) and requires a lengthier time frame and therefore higher cost.

We currently provide  RtW, MtM, and bench-made bespoke tailoring services in order to cater to our clients individual needs and budget.
